Terms of use

Terms of use.

These terms govern access to and use of the sites and services published by Blokby. By using them, you accept these terms. Subscription purchases are additionally governed by the terms of sale.

Purpose

These terms of use (the "Terms") define the conditions of access to and use of the sites and services published by Blokby, Vicente's studio, sole trader, including blokby.fr and math.blokby.fr (the "Service").

Any use of the Service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service.

Access to the Service and account

Browsing public content is free of charge. Certain features (progress tracking, applications, subscription) require the creation of an account.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out from your account.

The account is strictly personal. The Service is not intended for children under 15 without the consent of the person holding parental authority.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service in accordance with the law and these Terms. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • interfering with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service;
  • accessing the Service by unauthorised automated means (mass extraction, scraping) or circumventing technical protection measures;
  • impersonating a third party or using another person's account;
  • publishing or transmitting unlawful, defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties;
  • reproducing, reselling, or exploiting the content of the Service beyond what is authorised by these Terms and by law.

Intellectual property

The content published on the Service (texts, images, diagrams, videos, code, the "Blokby" brand and logo) is protected and remains the property of Vicente, unless otherwise stated. Detailed terms are set out in the legal notice, accessible at https://blokby.fr/fr/legal.

The Service is granted to you for personal, non-commercial use. Unless otherwise indicated, code snippets accompanying articles are shared under the MIT licence and may be reused, including commercially, provided the original attribution is retained.

Your content

Data you enter in the Service (for example the working state of an application) remains yours. You grant Blokby the licence strictly necessary for its hosting and for the operation of the Service, for the duration of your use.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Blokby uses reasonable means to ensure access to it, without guaranteeing continuous availability or the absence of errors.

The Service may evolve, be suspended for maintenance, or have certain features modified or removed, without giving rise to any right to compensation.

Liability

Educational and informational content is provided for instructional purposes only, without any guarantee of completeness or accuracy. It does not constitute professional advice.

To the extent permitted by law, Blokby shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. These clauses do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (Vercel hosting, Supabase database and authentication, Stripe payment) and may contain links to external sites. Blokby is not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties, which are governed by their own terms.

Suspension and termination

In the event of a breach of these Terms, Blokby may suspend or terminate access to the account, without notice where the severity warrants it.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your personal space. Account deletion does not affect current subscriptions, which are governed by the terms of sale.

Personal data

The processing of your personal data, cookies, and the exercise of your rights are described in the privacy policy, accessible at https://blokby.fr/fr/privacy.

Changes to the Terms

Blokby may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable regulations. The version in force is the one published on this page; the date of last update appears below. By continuing to use the Service, you accept the updated version.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought as a first step. Failing that, and for purchases, a consumer mediation mechanism is provided for in the terms of sale. French courts have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rules that apply.
