Privacy policy.

This policy applies to websites and services operated by Vicente under the name "Blokby". It describes what is collected, why, and your rights.

Vicente, operating under the name "Blokby"
DPO
No Data Protection Officer has been appointed. The controller fulfills this role directly (processing volume is not significant).

Data collected

Server logs
IP address, user agent, requested URL, response code, date and time. Collected automatically by Vercel on every request, retained for up to 12 months.
Language cookie
A technical cookie NEXT_LOCALE is set to remember your language preference. Duration: 1 year. No consent required (cookie strictly necessary to the service).
Email
If you write to contact@blokby.fr, your address, the content of your message, and any data you include are retained for the time needed to reply, then deleted within 12 months.
Account
If you create an account (blokby.fr or math.blokby.fr): email address, password (stored hashed, never in clear text), an optional display name, and learning progress. Retained as long as the account exists, deleted on request.
Subscription and payment
If you take out a paid subscription on math.blokby.fr, payment is processed by Stripe. Blokby neither sees nor stores your card number; a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status and dates are retained, to provide the service and for billing.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and the date of consent are retained until you unsubscribe, which is possible at any time.
No tracking
No behavioral analytics tool, no advertising cookie, no third-party pixel, and no browser fingerprinting is used.

Purposes and legal bases

Site operation
Serve pages, handle languages, prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
Account and subscription
Creating and managing the account, providing the apps and the paid subscription. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
Security
Detection of malicious attempts through Vercel logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Replying to contacts
Processing of incoming emails. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest depending on the nature of the message.

Processors and recipients

Hosting
Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting, CDN, server logs. Transfers outside the EU are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. Policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy ↗
Database and accounts
Supabase : database, authentication, and account management (email, hashed password, sessions). Data hosted in the European Union. Policy: supabase.com/privacy ↗
Payment
Stripe : processing of payments and subscriptions for math.blokby.fr. Card data is handled directly by Stripe. Policy: stripe.com/privacy ↗
Email
The mailbox contact@blokby.fr is hosted by the email provider chosen by the controller (Google Workspace at the time of writing). Your messages transit through their servers.
No other recipients
No data is sold, exchanged, or transmitted to commercial partners or data brokers.

Your rights

Access
You can request, at any time, a copy of the data concerning you.
Rectification
You can request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure
You can request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Portability
You can retrieve your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection
You can object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons.
Restriction
You can request suspension of processing in case of dispute.
Complaint
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): cnil.fr/en/plaintes ↗. Response time: 1 month maximum after the request.
How to exercise
Write to contact@blokby.fr specifying the right invoked. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.
